What is the troposphere?
The troposphere is the layer of the earth in which we live. It is named after the greek word tropos which means mixing. This is a good way to describe the troposphere because it is mixed with different elements such as water vapor, dust, oxygen and much more chemicals. The troposphere is also where all weather is made and plays host to the water cycle. There is more which makes the troposphere important. It gives us oxygen and protects us from space so it provides all life on earth. Without the troposphere we would die. (What is the troposphere?, 11/28/2010)
